Danielle Woody was born and raised in San Jose and graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in preparation for teaching.
During the 2014-2015 academic school year, Danielle was recognized with the Dean’s Scholar award. She holds a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction. The past few years Ms. Danielle has taught in the Evergreen School District. While working towards her BA, Danielle volunteered in a San Jose public school as a teacher’s aide in a first-grade classroom, for Reading Partners tutoring first and second-grade students, and Kid’s Club, a community outreach program, where she led a small group of students in various activities. Danielle has been working with elementary to 9th-grade learners in all academic subjects for seven years. She has a passion for working with children and wants to make a positive impact on the young minds of future generations by bringing an approach to teaching that is multifaceted and flexible so all students may reach their full potential.
