Michael Johnso

Michael Johnson grew up in Campbell and attended Saint Lucy’s Elementary School and Archbishop Mitty High School.





He has had an interest in helping children for as long as he can remember.
Michael graduated from San Jose State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Communications. He began his
teaching career at Ponderosa Elementary School in January 2002 and is currently
teaching a third through fifth-grade self-contained classroom.

 

Michael worked as an intern with San Jose State University and obtained his Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. According to the “No Child Left Behind Act,” he is a highly qualified teacher. He has a desire to want to better himself as a teacher and has attended several workshops and trainings including Writer’s Workshop, GLAD, Lindamood-Bell, Barton and Edmark. Michael Johnson has been a part of the Silver Creek Academy team for over ten years.
