Online Interactive Academic Workshops
Enjoy one of Silver Creek Academy's programs from the comfort of your home! Our engaging and interactive Zoom meetings will be held at the designated times below. Each Zoom meeting is 30 minutes in length and will include live and written feedback where applicable. All required handouts and classwork will be accessible through Google Classroom. Additional workshops will be added to our summer schedule that will take place after 8/7.

Public Speaking & Debate Grades 3 - 6
Students in the public speaking and debate workshop will master strategies for communicating persuasively and confidently. The students will practice writing and delivering presentations and debates through Zoom, while improving voice projection, articulation, pacing, eye contact, debate skills, and more!

Persuasive Writing Grades 4 - 6
Students will gain valuable skills to take their persuasive writing to the next level. Lessons will cover such topics as organizing stories, adding meaningful details, mastering writing mechanics, understanding grammar skills, and more. Students will be completing several persuasive essays during the two-week session.
