Kris McDonald
Kris McDonald graduated with a B.A. in Music and a minor in Theology from William Jessup University in Rocklin, CA.
While in college, she competed in theology and history-based public speaking forums and debates. Having a background in theatre/television/film/debate, she is passionate about incorporating the arts into education and encouraging creative and critical thinking in the classroom. Kris started working at SCA in 2015 as a teacher assistant at their summer camps. She also directed their summer camp musical involving 5th-8th grade students. Kris has years of experience teaching all subjects in grades preschool – 12th. She has also spent time working in RSP designated classrooms as well as Post Secondary programs. Kris has taught summer school for an ESY Preschool class with MHUSD. She also has experience in teaching voice lessons and choreography for musicals. Kris currently has a Substitute Teacher Permit and is a substitute teacher for the Morgan Hill and Oak Grove School Districts. Kris is involved in SVCT theater in Morgan Hill and loves spending her time with music/dance/film-related activities in her free time.
