Heather Maguire

Heather has joined the academy over the summer teaching our weekly academic camps and is excited to join the team of amazing teachers at Silver Creek Academy this fall.

Heather has always had a passion for teaching, therefore had continued her education to pursue a degree in Special Education through San Jose State. She has worked in education for many years in a variety of roles, including after school enrichment, substitute teaching, intervention and tutoring, Instructional Associate in Special Education, and currently as a Guided Studies teacher at Castillero Middle School. Heather has received her Bachelors in Psychology and Special Education Credential from San Jose State. Her teaching expertise is with students in elementary to high school, covering all subjects. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two teenage children. Heather looks forward to working with the students at SCA!
