Grace Bittel

Grace Bittel is a native of San Jose who is pursuing a B.A. in English Literature and Teaching at Gonzaga University.

Grace Bittel is a native of San Jose who is pursuing a B.A. in English Literature and Teaching at Gonzaga University. Since high school, she has dedicated herself to helping children and students in her community by setting up a strong academic foundation for their future. She believes that every student has the right to quality and caring educators who actively create tailored curriculum and advocate for their success.

At Gonzaga University, Grace is a distinguished student who assistant teaches at local high and middle schools. In addition, she is involved in after-school ELL tutoring, school advisory/homeroom programs for students at risk, alleviating the effects of poverty through meal distribution and by strengthening community relationships, as well as playing women’s club lacrosse. She recently received the Anthony T. Wadden and Michael B. Herzog award for her excellence in literature and her outreach to students in the Spokane community. After graduating, she will go on to seek an M.A. and Ph.D. in English literature. Grace is excited to be a part of the Silver Creek Academy team!
