Nicole Ferla
Nicole was born and raised in San Jose, California. She was a student-athlete and graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies.
Nicole has worked several years in the San Jose Unified School District as an Instructional Assistant Teacher in the Resource Specialist Program. Additionally, Nicole has had the unique opportunity to judge speech and debate tournaments at Silicon Valley Urban Debate League. She believes that speech and debate can help students build confidence, collaboration, and critical thinking skills to benefit them academically and in their day-to-day life. She is currently in a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and Master’s Degree in Education program. Nicole loves going to the beach, gardening, swimming, cooking, and hiking in her spare time. In addition, she loves animals, working with children, and spending time with her family and friends. Nicole is excited to be a part of the Silver Creek Academy Team!
