Mandy Dilim

Mandy Dilim has always been passionate about working with children and helping to foster their growth and education.

She grew up in the Central Valley and tutored K-8 students at the private school her mom worked at while she was in high school. She moved to the Bay Area when she transferred to San Jose State University to study Communications. Over the past few years, she has worked at the private school she used to tutor at as a substitute teacher for all grades. Mandy is currently working with the San Jose Unified School District as a Special Education Paraprofessional who provides both general and one-on-one specific instructional aid to students at the K-8 grade level. In her spare time, Mandy enjoys spending time with her family, walking her goldendoodle, taking care of her plants, practicing yoga, and baking. She is very much looking forward to becoming part of the SCA team and helping students master their ELA skills, as well as strengthening their written and verbal communication skills.
